2014-15:
Cross Country – Led the EKU men’s team to its fourth consecutive berth in the NCAA Championships … finished fifth out of 231 runners with a season-best 10K time of 30:19.0 at the NCAA Southeast Regional, helping the Colonels finish fourth and earn their first-ever at-large bid to the Big Dance … earned All-Southeast Region honors for the second straight season … was also EKU’s top runner at the NCAA Championships, finishing 66th out of 246 competitors in Terre Haute with a time of 31:14.9 … his performance helped lead the Colonels to a 23rd place finish at the premier event in all of college cross country … finished third at the OVC Championships with a season-best 8K time of 24:10.31 to help lead the EKU men to their ninth consecutive conference title … earned first team All-OVC honors.
Track and Field – Shattered the EKU 3,000-meter steeplechase record when he won with a time of 8:33.78 at the Virginia Challenge … that time also broke Lannigan Field’s 33-year old record in the event … won the 5,000 meters at the OVC Indoor Championships with a time of 14:55.53 … also medaled in the 3,000 meters at the indoor championships, finishing second to Amos Kosgey with a time of 8:32.49. 

2013-14:
Cross Country – Helped the EKU men win their first-ever NCAA Southeast Region Championship by finishing 21st at the regional meet with a 10K time of 29:43.6 … earned All-Southeast Region honors for his efforts … finished third on the team and 105th overall at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., where the Colonels recorded their best-ever national finish (15th) …posted his fastest 8K time of the season (24:18.1) at the Virginia Panorama Farms Invite on Sept. 28.
Track and Field – Named first team All-America for the second straight spring and became EKU’s first NCAA track medalist since 2008 when he placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. … clocked a personal-best time of 8:38.75 in that race … won his third OVC steeplechase title (and fifth overall conference title) at the OVC Outdoor Championships with a time of 9:10.53 … earned his fourth-career individual conference title by winning the 3,000 meters at the OVC Indoor Championships with a time of 8:22.01 … posted his best 3,000 meters time of the indoor season (8:10.83) at the Iowa State Classic in Ames on Feb. 14 … was named the OVC Male Track Athlete of the Week on Jan. 29 after running an 8:13.72 3,000 meters at the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet in Lexington.   
 
2012-13:
Cross Country – 
Made a triumphant return to EKU as he ran in the top-five for the Colonel men much of the fall … turned in arguably his best performance of the season at the NCAA Championships, when he finished third on the team and 138th overall with a 10K time of 31:02.08 … recorded his best 8K time of the season at the loaded Wisconsin Adidas Invitational, finishing fifth on the team and 138th overall in a time of 24:27.
Track and Field – Earned first team All-America honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing seventh in the finals of that event at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. with a time of 8:43.80 … two days earlier, ran a personal-best time of 8:42.70 in the semifinals of the event … won the steeplechase at the OVC Outdoor Championships for the second time in his career, cruising to a time of 9:24.14 … also won the 5,000 meters at the OVC Outdoor Championships, edging teammate Wade Meddles with a time of 14:50.62 … named the OVC Male Runner of the Week twice during the outdoor season, once after running an 8:51.14 in the steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational on March 30 and again after winning the steeplechase at the prestigious Penn Relays with a time of 8:47.52 on April 26 … scored points with a fifth-place finish in the 3,000 meters at the OVC Indoor Championships (8:34.26).

Prior to EKU: A 2010 first team All-OVC cross country performer and 2011 OVC Steeplechase Champion and NCAA Regional Qualifier returns to EKU after spending the 2011-12 school year at home in Denmark ... has shown marked improvement over the past year, setting personal records in every event he has run even once, culminating with his National U-23 record of 8:48.33 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase ... other personal records now include 3:49.34 in the 1,500 meters, 8:21.06 in the indoor 3,000 meters (equivalent of 8:55 for 3,200 meters) and 14:39.78 in the 5,000 meters.
