2008: Finished sixth in the discus at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a throw of 141-05…Also scored points with another sixth place finish in the shot put with a toss of 44-02…Turned in a dominating performance in the shot put at the EKU Open, winning the event with a personal best throw of 44-5…Was named OVC Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 15 after placing sixth in the weight throw at the talent-laden UK Invitational, crushing his previous personal best with a toss of 52-0.
2007: Threw a season-best 44-09.25 in the shot at the 2007 George Mason Spring Classic.
2006: Landed on the OVC best list for his performance at the 2006 McRavy Memorial in both the shot put (44-0) and the weight throw (41-10.5).
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Downders Grove South High School...high school coaches were David Burton and Bud Mohns...2005 state placer in discus...2004 state qualifier in discus.
