2009: Named OVC Co-Male Track and Field Athlete of the Year … was ranked in the top-15 in the country in the 3,000 meter-steeplechase for most of the season … won the 3,000 meter-steeplechase handily at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 9:11.94 … also placed third in the 5,000 meters (14:49.33) and fourth in the 1,500 meters (3:55.67) at the outdoor championships … placed 10th in the 3,000 meter-steeplechase at the Mideast Region Track and Field Championships with a time of 9:00.69 … recorded a career best 8:52.07 in the 3,000 meter-steeplechase at the competition-rich Penn Relays, only eight seconds off the school record set by Ken Silvious in 1970 … named OVC Male Track Athlete of the Week on April 29. 

2008: Placed second at the OVC Cross Country Championships and was named first team All-OVC ... finished 38th at the Southeast Region Championships with one shoe ... won the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in a time of 19:13.73 … placed second in the 5,000 meters at the outdoor championships with a time of 14:54.45 … advanced to Mideast Regional Finals in the steeplechase where he placed eighth with a time of 9:00.89 … earned All-Mideast Region honors … finished fifth in the 3,000 meters at the OVC Indoor Track and Field Championships in a time of 8:38.65 … placed sixth in the 5,000 meters at the indoor championships with a time of 15:13.85 … a member of the winning distance medley team at the indoor championships.
