Anetra Williams begins her first season as Eastern Kentucky University’s director of basketball operations after spending a year working at Cleveland State University.
She was also the head coach for Lorain Southview High School in the 2006-07 season.
Williams played two seasons, over a three-year period, for Cleveland State (2001-04).
As a prep player for Admiral King High School, the Lorain, Ohio native was named second team All-Ohio and Lorain County Miss Basketball. She averaged 13.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 4.0 steals per game as a senior. At the end of her career she held school records for assists and steals.
Williams earned her bachelor’s degree in urban planning-studies from Cleveland State in 2006.
