Prior to arriving at IPFW Green spent three seasons on the Eastern Michigan University bench as an assistant coach, helping lead the Eagles to a 67-23 mark in that span.

In 2004, Eastern Michigan captured it’s first-ever Mid-American Conference championship and earned the league’s automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. EMU capped the next two seasons with appearances in the post-season WNIT.

Following her graduation Green played one season of professional basketball in Ankara, Turkey before returning to her alma mater, Cleveland State, as a graduate assistant for the 2002-03 season. She also served as an athletic equipment manager at CSU for one year and worked as a women’s basketball camp administrator for one year.

A four-year letter winner at Cleveland State, Green was the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2000 and 2001. The two-time All-Midwestern Collegiate Conference first team selection was also named to the league’s all-tournament team in 2000 and 2001. Green finished her career second in the Viking record book with 151 three-point field goals.

As a senior, Green led the Vikings in scoring (15.1 ppg), rebounding (7.8 rpg) and assists (4.64 apg). She scored a career-best 37 points with seven three-point field goals in a game against Detroit. During her junior season she recorded the program’s third triple-double with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists against Niagara.

She completed her bachelor’s degree at Cleveland State in 2001 with a degree in psychology and is pursuing a master’s degree in sports management/sports psychology at CSU.
