Sean Moore was chosen as the women’s golf assistant coach in February of 2026.  He had previously worked with the program as a volunteer assistant during the 2020-21 season.
 
In the spring of 2026, Moore helped guide EKU to a second place finish at the Colonel Classic.  The team’s scores, in its final two events, of 921 at the Colonel Classic and 912 at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship were its lowest of the spring.
 
Claira Ramsey Eden and Karra Tucker posted top-10 finishes at the Colonel Classic.
 
Before spending time as an assistant golf pro at the University Club at Arlington and Greenbrier Golf & Country Club, Moore was a caddie for Kyle Reifers on the PGA Korn Ferry Tour from March 2019 to March 2020.

During the 2020-21 season, Moore helped the Colonels to a pair of tournament wins, four top-5 performances in six events and a second place finish at the conference championship.
 
Moore served as an assistant golf professional at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee, from 2016-2018 and at Pinehurst Resort from 2013-2015.  From 2011 to 2013, he was the volunteer assistant coach at Carson-Newman University.
 
As a professional golfer, Moore played on various mini tours from 2007-2013.  He as a member of the golf team at Wake Forest University from 2003-2007, where he earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in religion.  He was the Atlantic Coast Conference individual champion and chosen to the All-ACC team in 2004.  He tied for third individually at the NCAA East Regional Tournament in 2005 and helped the team to a tie for third at the 2006 NCAA Championship.
 
In 2005, Moore was the North and South Amateur Champion.
