2011 (Junior): Earned second team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors for the second straight season after starting all 19 games in which she appeared on an EKU backline that did not permit multiple goals in any of the Colonels’ final 12 regular season contests … recorded a pair of assists, both of which came against OVC foes … her first assist came on a goal by Nicole Donnelly in the Colonels’ 2-1 win over Tennessee Tech (Sept. 30) … she then assisted on a goal by Ashley Ryan in a victory over OVC Tournament champion UT Martin (Oct. 7) … fired a season-high four shots in win over Austin Peay in the final weekend of the regular season (Oct. 28) … ranked third on the team with 1,600 minutes played.
2010 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 19 games during the season, starting 18 of them … moved from the attack to the backline, and her seamless transition was noticed throughout the league as she was named second team All-Ohio Valley Conference ... logged the second most minutes on the team (1,597), took 11 shots, four of which were on goal, and used her speed to help the EKU defense allow only six goals in eight OVC games … played every minute of 14 games during the season, going the distance in EKU’s last nine games, including the Colonels’ OVC Tournament matchup with Eastern Illinois (Nov. 4).
2009 (Freshman): Appeared in 18 games and started four of them during her freshman campaign … proved to be one of the Colonels’ most dynamic offensive players as she used her speed to create many scoring opportunities … attempted 11 shots, seven of which were on goal … converted her first career goal in a game against OVC opponent Tennessee Tech (Oct. 2) … helped set up the Colonels’ first goal of the season as she received the assist on Heather Bruce’s goal against Kent State (Aug. 19) in EKU’s season opener.
High School and/or Club Experience: A forward from Centerville, Ohio with a varied resume of club, ODP and high school playing experience ... she has been a member of Cincinnati United Premiere for the last four years ... Tennon has scored 24 goals during her career with CUP and recorded 17 assists ... her Cincinnati United team was an Ohio State Cup Semifinalist from 2006-07 ... has played for the Ohio South Olympic Development Program since 2004 ... in 2008, she was a member of the Ohio South ODP England Tour and scored two goals on the trip ... her Centerville High team was sectional, district and GWOC league champions in 2007 and 2008 ... the Elks were also region finalists both years and finished ninth in the final state poll in 2007 ... Tennon led the team in 2006 with 11 goals and 13 assists and in 2005 with 15 goals and 10 assists ... has scored eight goals in 2008 and recorded six assists ... chose EKU over Purdue, IUPUI, Cincinnati, Dayton and Centre.
