Ally Peters was promoted to full time assistant in July 2017 for the EKU volleyball program. She was a graduate assistant for the 2016 season.
Peters, a resident of Medina, Ohio, is a recent graduate of the communications studies program at EKU. Peters was a three-year player for the Colonels after transferring from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2012.
In 2015, Peters played in 31 matches for Colonels with 27 starts. She was fourth on the team in kills (188) and averaged 1.83 kills-per-set for the Colonels. Against SIU Edwardsville and Tennessee Tech, she posted a season-high 12 kills. She added a season-high five aces against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 6.
Some of her duties for the Colonels will include team itineraries, assisting and executing practices, and facilitating communication for film exchange.
