Jessica Reber joined the staff in September of 2020.
Reber joined EKU from McNeese State University where she was an assistant from January 2019 to December 2019. During her time at McNeese she oversaw recruiting and evaluated potential student athletes, organized and led scouting film sessions, managed the team and individual defensive/serve receive side of the game, executed team travel, and participated in practice team meetings and player development meetings.
Before her time at McNeese, Reber was a graduate assistant at the University of Findlay from 2017 to 2019. During her tenure at Findley, she helped lead the team to the 2017 NCAA Tournament. She helped coach three NCAA DII All-Americans and five Midwest All-Region athletes.
“I am very excited to have Jessica Reber as part of the EKU volleyball family,” head coach Johnna Bazzani said. “She comes highly respected by her peers. With her experiences as a player and coach I know she is going to help raise the level of competitiveness in our gym!”
While at Findley, she worked with admissions to organize meetings with potential recruits and professors, assisted the head coach in recruiting athletes, organized visits for potential athletes with the head coach and also served as the head coach for the college’s junior varsity team.
Reber was a coach at Memphis Volleyball Academy from 2013 to 2017, where she instructed groups of 30-40 middle to high school girls in training as lead trainer. She helped lead teams to top three finishes in six different tournaments.
Reber graduated from Christian Brothers University in 2016 where she received a degree in business administration with a concentration in sport management. She was elected team captain in 2015 and 2016.
