AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2025
Made 15 pitching appearances and started on the mound 10 times … played offensively in 14 games and started eight – five times in center field and three times at designated hitter … went 1-9 on the mound with a 12.38 ERA … struck out 32 batters in 32 innings … hit .100 with three runs, one home run and three RBIs … started and pitched four scoreless innings against Marshall (March 18) … allowed one run on one hit in two innings of a start at No. 12 Vanderbilt (March 25) … started and pitched five scoreless innings and earned the win against Morehead State (April 9) … tossed one inning of scoreless relief at No. 17 Louisville (April 29) … hit a walk-off solo home run in the 10th inning against North Alabama (March 23).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2024
Made 13 pitching appearances and five starts on the mound … went 2-3 with 20 strikeouts in 17 2/3 innings … played in 27 games and started 20 in the field – 10 times in right field, eight at designated hitter and one each in left and center … hit .160 with four doubles, one home run, eight RBIs and four runs … did not allow a run, game up just two hits and struck out four in a season-high three innings at Marshall (May 1) … in 2 2/3 innings of a start against Northern Kentucky (May 7), struck out a season-high five batters … hit his first collegiate home run at Austin Peay (April 28), finishing 1-for-4 with one run and two RBIs … went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI against Bellarmine (May 4).

HIGH SCHOOL
Chosen as Kentucky’s Mr. Baseball and all-state following his senior season at Christian County High School in 2023 … hit .430 with nine doubles, eight home runs, 28 walks and 34 stolen bases his senior season … pitched to a 2.65 ERA over 66 innings with 115 strikeouts as a senior … also chosen all-district and region player of the year in 2023 … first team all-state selection and region player of the year as a junior after hitting .337 with 12 doubles, nine home runs and 59 runs scored to go along with a 6-2 record with a 2.54 ERA and 139 strikeouts in 69 innings on the mound … was second team all-state and region player of the year as a sophomore in 2021 when he hit .447 with nine doubles and six home runs.

Full name is Elijah Michael Underhill … son of Chase and Tierra Underhill … has five brothers – Jaiden, Landyn, Micah, Raquan and Rashaun, and two sisters – Reyonna and Brielle … major is undecided.
