Tatum Tremain HS 2024

Tatum Tremain

Tatum Tremain joined the program as an assistant coach on June 12, 2024.

"I am thrilled to have a person and coach of Tatum's quality join our family," said Cosinuke. "Throughout the hiring process, her energy, positivity, and attention to detail set her apart from so many other fantastic candidates. She is a gifted coach with a huge future ahead of her. I can't wait to see her in action this fall."

Tremain joins EKU after one year at Midland University where she served as the interim head coach for the 2023 season.

With Midland, Tremain guided the program to a 6-1-2 overall record and a 3-0 record in the GPAC Tournament to capture the league's championship. Midland would advance to the NAIA National Tournament and suffer a narrow 1-0 loss to UC Merced in the First Round.

"I am super happy to be a part of this program and can't wait to get the season started," said Tremain. "I am beyond grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to take advantage of the things I will learn at EKU."

Before Midland, Tremain worked with the Des Moines Menace Soccer Club in the USL League Two as an operations intern and helped the organization with travel, equipment, and registration for two years.

Tremain played collegiately at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa from 2018-22 and was a four-year letterwinner and team captain. With Simpson, Tremain appeared in 56 matches as a midfielder and logged two goals and two assists with a 73 percent shot-on-goal rate.

After she graduated from Simpson College, Tremain returned to the school and served as a graduate assistant with the women's soccer program. She coached the reserve team daily alongside duties on the varsity squad during the 2022 season.

Tremain, a State Center, Iowa native, earned a Master's in Sports Administration and Leadership from Simpson College in 2022.
