Defensive back
Mike Smith Jr. recorded an eye-popping 38-inch vertical to start the day a mark that would have tied for fourth best at this year's NFL Combine of safeties measured.
"An event like this shows that you can come to a place like EKU and put it on film that you're going to be seen," said head coach
Walt Wells. "We got a great turnout of scouts and coaches from NFL organizations, and it's just a great day."
NFL Teams in attendance
The Colonels will now continue working ahead of the NFL Draft from April 24-26 hoping to join a long line of 34 former Colonels who have been drafted into the league.
