Turkey Hughes Field

Orginally built in 1966, Turkey Hughes Field, which serves as home to the Colonel baseball team, has seen major renovations and updates throughout its 40 years.

The facility contains an all-grass infield, artificial turf coaching boxes at first and third bases, artificial turf batting circles and paths from each dugout to home plate, batting cages and sunken dugouts.

Seating is available for approximately 1000 spectators.

The field is named in honor of Charles T. "Turkey" Hughes, who served as the EKU athletic director and chairman of the Department of Health and Physical Education.
