Entering her senior season, Kayla holds eight single-season and career offensive records at EKU, including career goals (six) and games played (52).

What has been the biggest highlight of your EKU career? The program’s first win against Samford. It was the first win for the program, and the first win of my collegiate career.
What changes have you seen in the program since you first arrived? First, the facilities that we have here as EKU women's soccer players. My freshman year, we didn't have a locker room or a field to call our own and now we have a field house and a great field. Second, I have noticed that the level of play has increased and that each year we are becoming better players and, collectively, a better team.
What do you want to accomplish before your career at EKU is over? Before I become an EKU women's soccer alum I would like to accomplish the program’s first appearance in an OVC tournament.
What is your funniest EKU soccer story/experience? When we were in Florida playing my freshman year and one of the vans we were traveling in decided to have a mind of its own. Well, the van started rolling away as we were getting our equipment out, and our coach, Lindsay, decided she could try stopping the moving vehicle with her bare hands. Needless to say, we were all okay, including the van, and the day was saved when someone put the vehicle in park.
