Senior right hander Hayley Flynn has helped the Colonels to their best start in the 24-year history of the program. Flynn has been a force on the mound for EKU.

Flynn leads the OVC in strkeouts and wins. Her 5.32 hits per seven innings ranks second in the league, while her wins total ranks 15th in the country. Flynn averages 7.9 strikeouts per seven innings which is second in the conference and 47th nationally.
