Shortstop and Richmond, Kentucky native Logan Thomason was chosen as the ASUN Conference Player of the Week on March 14.
 
Thomason is the program's first-ever ASUN Player of the Week.
 
The junior hit .563 (9-for-16) with seven runs and five RBIs over five games.  He had a .636 on-base percentage and one strikeout in 16 at bats. 
 
Thomason hit safely in four of five games, including three multi-hit games.  He had EKU's first 4-hit game of the season in a win over rival Western Kentucky, going 4-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs.  He tied the game with a 2-run single in the top of the ninth as Eastern Kentucky overcame a 5-0 ninth-inning deficit to beat Austin Peay 7-5
