Aaron Patrick was chosen to the All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team. Patrick, a 6-foot-4, 227-pound sophomore from Dayton, Ohio, finished the season with seven sacks, a total of 10 tackles for a loss and 53 total tackles. He also recorded 10 quarterback hurries, and forced a fumble. Patrick ranked second in the OVC and 37th in the nation with an average of 0.64 sacks per game. In conference games only, Patrick led the league with 6.5 sacks. He registered nine tackles in a game twice this season, at Ball State and against Jacksonville State. On Oct. 1 at Tennessee Tech, Patrick finished with 2.5 sacks for a loss of 22 yards.
