Faouzi, a three-time All-OVC first team honoree and 2013 OVC Player of the Year, is off to perhaps her best start as a Colonel. The native of Mareil Sur Mauldre, France finished the indoor season 8-1 in singles at the No. 1 position. Faouzi's lone loss came on Feb. 15 at nationally-ranked Kentucky. This spring, she will try to become just the second player in EKU history to win two OVC Player of the Year awards joining Nikki Wagstaff (1988, 1989).
