RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky’s volleyball team fell to 12th ranked Minnesota, 3-0, today at the Golden Bear Invitational hosted by the University of California in Berkeley, Calif.

The game scores were 30-12, 30-18 and 30-11.

Kate Hendle finished with 11 assists and two service aces for EKU. Amanda Wilson totaled four blocks.

Kyla Roehrig led Minnesota with 12 kills.

The Colonels will return to action on Saturday when they face No. 15 California at 3 p.m. EKU will close out play in the Golden Bear Invitational on Saturday evening against Utah State. That match is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
