RICHMOND, Ky. – Four Eastern Kentucky University volleyball players earned Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Emilee Hill,
Carson Ledford,
AG Hynes and
Lydia Stephens.

Hill, the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year and first team All-ASUN pick, carries a 3.76 grade-point-average while majoring in psychology. She has earned a spot on the ASUN Honor Roll each of the past two seasons.

The junior setter from Yorktown, Indiana averaged 2.62 kills, 5.89 assists, 3.16 digs, 0.51 blocks and 0.22 aces per set with a .254 attack percentage. Hill had 10 triple-doubles this season, no other ASUN player had any triple-doubles. She was the only player in the ASUN to average more than 5.7 assists, 3.0 digs, 2.0 kills and 0.40 blocks per set.

Ledford, a third team All-ASUN pick this past season, compiled a 4.0 GPA while completing an undergraduate degree in management and has a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a master's in business administration. She is a 3-time ASUN Honor Roll member and now a 3-time CSC Academic All-District pick.

The senior middle blocker from Wilkesboro, North Carolina averaged 1.79 kills, 1.02 blocks, 0.49 digs and 0.25 aces per set with a .372 attack percentage. She was second in ASUN in attack percentage and ninth in blocks per set. Ledford's nine blocks in a win over Lipscomb were the eighth-most by an ASUN player this season.

Hynes, a second team All-ASUN selection this year, carried a 3.70 GPA while completing an undergraduate degree in psychology and has a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a master's in general psychology/applied behavior analysis. She is a 3-time ASUN Honor Roll member and now a 3-time CSC Academic All-District pick.

The senior right side from Athens, Georgia averaged 2.83 kills and .66 blocks per set while hitting .327. She was fifth in ASUN in hitting percentage. Hynes hit .611 in a sweep at Central Arkansas, the ninth-highest by a player in ASUN this season.

Stephens has a 3.81 GPA while majoring in marketing. She is a 2-time ASUN Honor Roll member.

The junior defensive specialist from Louisville, Kentucky averaged 1.53 digs and 0.28 aces per set while playing in all 31 matches.

All four Academic All-District selections also earned Academic All-ASUN recognition in November.
Â
EKU tied for second in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings this season and advanced to the ASUN Tournament championship match.  The Colonels have won 20 or more matches in three straight seasons, the first time the program has accomplished that since 2003-05.
