LEXINGTON, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky's volleyball team lost 3-0 to the University of Albany Friday in the first match of the University of Kentucky Invitational in Lexington, Ky. The Colonels (1-6) got a team-high seven kills from senior Amanda Wilson. The Great Danes (4-3) were led by Amanda Cowdrey’s eight kills.

Game scores were 25-11, 25-17 and 25-17.

Lindsey Loescher finished with six kills and 10 digs for EKU. Freshman Jill Henneman had 15 assists. Sophomore Abby O’Connor totaled 21 digs.

Eastern Kentucky will play twice on Saturday. At noon the Colonels will play Kentucky. At 5 p.m., EKU takes on Indiana.
