RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University football team concludes the 2009 regular season Saturday at Jacksonville State. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m.
Eastern Kentucky (5-5, 5-2 OVC) needs to win the regular season finale to clinch its 32nd consecutive winning season. The Colonels are still in the hunt for the 2009 OVC title. Eastern needs to win its finale at Jacksonville State and have Eastern Illinois lose to Tennessee State Thursday night.
The Jacksonville State (7-3, 5-1 OVC) offense has put up some big numbers over the last eight games, which were against FCS opponents. The Gamecocks have a 325-106 advantage in points scored, scoring 46 touchdowns and three field goals to average 40.63 points. Meanwhile, the JSU defense has allowed just 11 touchdowns and four field goals, an average of 13.3 points. Jacksonville State has allowed the opponents to convert just 31-of-114 (27.1 percent) on third downs, while converting 47 percent on third downs (44-of-94).
The all-time series is tied at 3-all. Last year, EKU intercepted JSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux five times in the 38-35 win. Perrilloux has thrown just two interceptions in nine games this year. The Colonels held Jacksonville State to a season-low 80 yards rushing last year. Eastern has won the last two meetings in Jacksonville.

Orlandus Harris has compiled 14 receptions for 185 yards. Harris finished with a season-high nine receptions last weekend against Western Carolina.
