RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University Softball Invitational, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Gertrude Hood Field, has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

The Colonels will return to action on March 7 when they begin play in the Rebel Spring Games, hosted by the city of Kissimmee, Fla. EKU will face IPFW at 9 a.m., and South Dakota at 11 a.m. Eastern will play eight games between the 7th and the 11th.
