EKU Visits Big East Foe Louisville This Weekend

RICHMOND, Ky. – For the first time since 1991, Eastern Kentucky and Louisville will meet on the gridiron as the two football teams are scheduled to meet in Louisville Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The game will be televised locally by WHAS-11 (Louisville), WTVQ-36 (Lexington), and the Wazoo Sports Network.

Louisville is under the direction of first year head coach Charlie Strong. The Cardinals are coming off a 23-16 loss to Kentucky. Senior RB Bilal Powell piled up a career-high 153 yards on the ground versus the Wildcats. Louisville is 29-17-1 all-time against OVC teams and last played an OVC squad in 2008 (Tennessee Tech).
