RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University softball team winds down a six-game road swing Tuesday afternoon with a doubleheader at rival Morehead State. Game one is slated to start at 2 p.m.
 
The Colonels (18-14, 6-4) have won all five games against Morehead State (7-21-1, 3-7) spanning the last two years.
 
Senior first baseman Christina Ciolek, who had her 13-game hitting streak snapped in game one of Sunday's doubleheader at SIUE, is batting a league-best .457 in OVC games. Meanwhile, sophomore Sarah Fobbs has hit five home runs against conference foes, also tops in the league.
 
In the circle, junior Leanna Pittsenbarger (12-7) has a 1.08 ERA against OVC opponents, the best in the conference. The righty went 2-1 last week that included a no-hitter against ETSU.
 
Morehead State has lost five straight overall since defeating Oakland on April 2, 5-4.
