Melissa Barnes said. "We put Ohio under a great deal of pressure in the fist half, but couldn't convert our chances. Credit to Ohio, in the second half they did a great job of attacking."
Freshman goalkeeper
Anna Hall made six saves in a scoreless first half, but the Ohio attack eventually wore down the EKU defense. Alexis Milesky gave the Bobcats the lead with a breakaway goal just eight minutes into the second half, and Carly Manso added an insurance goal in the 76
th minute.
Ohio outshot EKU on the day, 23-8. Fourteen of the Bobcats' shots came in the second half.

Cassie Smith and freshman
Logan Harvey led EKU with two shots apiece.
Junior defender
Merrissa Vault played all 90 minutes in the loss.
Hall made a career-high nine saves in the game.
EKU will look to regroup from this weekend's road trip by hosting UNC Asheville and Marshall at EKU Soccer Field next weekend.
