THIS WEEKEND:Eastern Kentucky (15-18, 5-4 OVC) was scheduled to take on both Austin Peay (7-20, 3-7) and Murray State (18-12, 4-3) this weekend, but impending inclement weather has forced the APSU doubleheader to be rescheduled. The Colonels will now face the Govs on Wednesday, April 22. The Racers downed EKU in last year's OVC Tournament on the way to reaching the championship game against SIUE. Last weekend, Murray State took one of three games against Eastern Illinois.

• ON DECKEastern keeps its map handy for another road game as the Colonels travel to Knoxville, Tennessee on Tuesday, April 7 to take on No. 11 Tennessee. EKU already has one win over a nationally-ranked team this season as the Colonels took out No. 23 South Alabama on Feb. 7, 1-0. The Colonels are 0-7 all-time against UT.

• LIGHTING UP THE SCOREBOARDEastern Kentucky has scored at least 10 runs in two straight games and six times in 2015. Meanwhile, Murray State leads the OVC in batting average (.311) and runs scored (180).

Leanna Pittsenbarger passed former Colonel Jonelle Csora (2000-03) as EKU's all-time strikeout leader with three punch outs against Wright State on Feb. 28. Pittsenbarger has 817 career strikeouts entering this weekend and ranks fourth in the OVC with 90 strikeouts in 2015.
