Colonels Fall At Ohio

RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky lost 6-0 at Ohio on Tuesday. Mandy Alvarez recorded two of EKU's five hits, finishing 2-for-4 on the night.
 
An RBI double by Manny DeJesus in the bottom of the third gave the Bobcats (23-15) all they would need.  Mitch Longo added a run-scoring ground out later in the inning for a 2-0 lead.  Jake Madsen's three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth put the game away.
 
Eastern Kentucky (14-22) opens a three-game series at Eastern Illinois on Friday beginning at 4 p.m.
