THIS WEEKEND:Â The Eastern Kentucky University softball team (23-23, 13-7 OVC) faces off against Jacksonville State (33-15, 15-6 OVC) in Jacksonville, Alabama for the final series of the regular season. EKU has won eight of its last nine games coming into the weekend. The outcome of this series could shake up the OVC standings heading into the OVC Tournament. EKU is currently in the No. 4 spot, with Jacksonville State in the No. 2 spot.
