RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky volleyball team will play in the Lady Vol Classic presented by Dish this upcoming weekend in Knoxville.
 
The Colonels will begin action on Friday facing two opponents; UNC Greensboro at 10 a.m. and North Florida at 4:30 p.m. They will finish the Classic with Tennessee on Saturday at 7 p.m.
 
The Colonels fell to 0-4 this season with a loss to Marshall on Tuesday.
 
UNC Greensboro improved to 2-1 on the season with a victory over Fairleigh Dickinson in the Liberty Invitational. North Florida sits at 2-1 on the season. Tennessee has started the season 4-0.
 
EKU's Celina Sanks had 11kills and eight digs to lead the Colonels against the Thundering Herd on Tuesday.  She is averaging 2.86 kills per set this season. Johanna Boyer totaled 25 assists for the match.
 
Chloe Rojas had 10 digs against Marshall. She has totaled 53 in this young season.
