Gameweek: Jacksonville State and Morehead State

RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU women's basketball team will travel to Jacksonville, Alabama for the first of a two-game Ohio Valley Conference road swing this week, before traveling to in-state Morehead on Saturday.

- The Colonels (13-10, 7-5 OVC) completed the season sweep of Tennessee State with a 78-67 win over the Lady Tigers on Saturday at McBrayer Arena. 

- EKU has won three of its last four OVC contests. 

- Jalen O'Bannon picked up her eighth OVC Newcomer of the Week award after logging 15 points and 12 rebounds against TSU on Saturday. 

- O'Bannon (17.3 ppg), Shameekia Murray (14.7 pgg) and Michaela Hunter (12.0 ppg) lead the Colonels in scoring. 

- The Colonels' 78-point performance on Saturday marked the fifth highest scoring affair of the season for EKU. 

- Saturday's 25 field goals marked the 15th time this season the Colonels have made 25 or more field goals in a contest. 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
 
- Jacksonville State (10-15, 5-8 OVC) has lost its last two OVC contests.

- The Gamecocks won the January 27th meeting, 56-54, at McBrayer Arena.

- EKU leads the all-time series, 18-10. The average margin of victory in the last three games between the Colonels and Gamecocks at the Pete Mathews Coliseum    is 18.3 points.

- Briana Benson paces the JSU offense with 11.9 points-per-game.

- Morehead State (9-17, 3-9 OVC) has lost its last four OVC matchups.

- EKU leads the all-time series against the Eagles, 49-42, after a 100-93 win in overtime on January 30 at McBrayer Arena.

- Brianna McQueen leads the Eagles' offense with 14.6 points-per-game.
