HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Eastern's baseball team lost at Marshall University, 6-0, on Tuesday.  EKU will host East Tennessee at Turkey Hughes Field on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
 
Marshall jumped out early with five runs in the first highlighted by a three-run home run from Sam Finfer.
 
After the big first inning, EKU held the Thundering Herd to just one run the rest of the way.  Caleb Johnson came on to pitch in the second and tossed shutout ball for the next five innings.  He gave up four hits, did not walk a batter and struck out two.
 
Eastern's Taylor Blair had three of the team's six hits, going 3-for-4 at the plate.  Finfer finished 1-for-2 with a walk, two runs and three RBIs.
