RICHMOND, Ky. – The surging Eastern Kentucky University soccer team hits the road this week to Charleston, South Carolina to play Charleston Southern on Sunday.

- EKU's game at The Citadel has been canceled due to impending weather in Charleston.
- EKU (2-2-0) shut out a pair of opponents last week, blanking Northern Kentucky, 2-0, on Thursday at home before defeating VMI, 2-0, on Saturday on the road.

Anna Hall was voted the Ohio Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after not allowing a single goal in the two EKU wins. Hall now ranks third all-time at EKU with seven career shutouts. She is the first Colonel to be named OVC Goalkeeper of the Week since Erika Wolfer on August 21, 2012.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- Charleston Southern (2-2-0) lost to College of Charleston, 4-0, on Wednesday. The Buccaneers were picked seventh in the Big South preseason coaches poll. Senior Anna Sells leads the team with three goals on the year.
