RICHMOND, Ky. –
Eastern Kentucky will host Tennessee-Martin on Saturday for Homecoming.  The game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

Please note, the Alumni Coliseum parking lot serves as the staging area for the Homecoming Parade.  The lot will open for tailgating at 10 a.m.
 
The Colonel walk will begin at 12:45 p.m. and travel through the Colonel Club section of the Alumni Coliseum lot and through the student tailgating lot at the Fitness and Wellness Center.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  Eastern Kentucky leads the all-time series with UT Martin, 23-4. 
 
-  The Colonels are 11-2 against the Skyhawks in games played in Richmond.  In the last game played at Roy Kidd Stadium, the Colonels lost 42-35 on Nov. 7, 2015. 
 
-  EKU won the first 20 games in the series. 
 
-  UT Martin won last season, 33-3, on Oct. 29 in Martin.  Eastern Kentucky forced and recovered a fumble on the first drive of the game, and turned it into an early lead, but the Skyhawks scored 33 unanswered points on the way to the victory.
 
THE COLONELS
-  Eastern Kentucky (1-5, 1-3 OVC) suffered a 41-25 loss at No. 3 Jacksonville State this past Saturday.
 
-  EKU's 25 points against No. 3 JSU are the most allowed by the Gamecocks this season against an FCS opponent.
 
Keith Wrzuszczak is first in the OVC and fifth in FCS with an average of 45.1 yards per punt.  Eastern Kentucky leads the nation in net punting (43.27 ypp).
 
-  The EKU kickoff return game was outstanding at JSU.  LJ Scott average 37.5 yards on four kickoff returns.  After returns of 26 and 19 yards, Scott ripped off a 57-yarder and a 48-yarder.  His 57-yard return is the longest by a Colonel this season.  Daryl McCleskey registered a 55-yard return and a 40-yard return as well.  Combined, EKU averaged 36 yards on seven kickoff returns.  Eastern now leads the conference and is second in the nation with an average of 29.48 yards per kickoff return this season.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  UT Martin enters Saturday's game 3-3 this season and 1-2 against OVC teams.
 
-  The Skyhawks rose to No. 18 in the nation after beating No. 15 Chattanooga (21-7) and No. 20 Tennessee State (31-16) in back-to-back games, but have since lost two straight to OVC teams Austin Peay (7-0) and Murray State (13-10).  The Skyhawks had an off week this past week.
 
-  UT Martin is averaging 20.2 points this season while holding opponents to 14.7 points per game.
 
-  The Skyhawks lead the conference in rushing defense (79.3 ypg).  UT Martin is first in the OVC and fifth in the nation in total defense (271 ypg).
 
-  Ladarius Galloway leads the offensive attack with 629 rushing yards and four touchdowns in six games.  He is first in the OVC and eighth in the country with 104.8 rushing yards per game.
 
DOWN THE ROAD
-  EKU will play the first of two straight road games on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Murray State.  Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.
