RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University athletics has announced its gameday timeline for Saturday's Homecoming football game against West Florida at CG Bank Field at Roy Kidd Stadium presented by Marshall Pediatric Therapy.

Fans are encouraged to keep track of EKU's Homecoming timeline, as the timeline has been altered due to the Homecoming 5K Race and other campus activities.

Roy and Sue Kidd Lane is scheduled to close at approximately 7:30 a.m. ET due to the 8 a.m. race start. The road is scheduled to re-open around 9 a.m. when parking lots open and tailgating can begin.

EKU's Colonel Courtyard is scheduled to open at 12 p.m., with plenty of family friendly activities for fans.

One of the highlights of the pregame festivities, the Colonel Walk, will begin at 12:45 p.m. outside the Moberly Building, Olympic Sports Training Facility and RV lot.

Gates to Roy Kidd Stadium will open at 1:30 p.m., followed by the Marching Colonels Band entering the stadium around 2:30 p.m. after their performance at Earle Combs Stadium.

The Marching Colonels are scheduled to take the field at 2:44 p.m. for their pregame performance.

At 2:56 p.m., the Colonels will gather atop the hill next to the OSTC for one of Roy Kidd Stadium's signature gameday traditions.

Following the intro video and music, EKU will run down the hill and onto the field, debuting a new entrance path that brings the Colonels onto the field closest to the main grandstand.

Kickoff against West Florida is scheduled for 3:02 p.m. EKU will celebrate its 2026 Homecoming Court at midfield during halftime.
