INSIDE THE SERIES
-  This will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams.

THE COLONELS
-  Eastern Kentucky (3-7, 3-5 OVC) has suffered back-to-back losses by three and seven points.  The Colonels held fourth quarter leads in both games.

-  Keith Wrzuszczak's current season punting average of 43.9 yards per punt would break his own program single season record of 43.7 set as a sophomore in 2015.

-  Ryan Markush caught two more touchdown passes against Austin Peay (Nov. 11), raising his season total to nine.  Last season he had three.

-  With three sacks against Austin Peay (Nov. 11), Luder Jean Louis moved to sixth on EKU's single season sacks list with 10.  Jessie Small holds the single season record with 13 sacks in 1988.  Current Tampa Bay Buccaneer Noah Spence had 11.5 sacks in 2015.

-  The Colonels have had 12 sacks in their last four games.

-  While the defense has registered 22 sacks, the EKU offensive line and quarterbacks have only allowed eight in 10 games.  That is first the conference and is the seventh fewest sacks allowed in the nation.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Saint Francis University began the season by winning three of its first four games, including a 13-7 victory at then No. 22 ranked Liberty.  However the Red Flash have won just two of their last six, including back-to-back conference losses at Central Connecticut State and at home against Sacred Heart.

-  The Red Flash are averaging 23.1 points per game and allowing 14.7 per contest.
-  The SFU offense averages 290 yards per game with 188 of those coming through the air.  Saint Francis has scored twice as many touchdowns by passing (16) than rushing (8).

-  Saint Francis allows 294 yards per game, with 140 of those coming on the ground.

-  The Red Flash have committed seven fewer turnovers than their opponents.
