RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team will travel back to Ohio, this time to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

- The Colonels (2-2, 0-0 OVC) fell to the Akron Zips, 62-45, this past Wednesday.
 
- Reigning OVC Newcomer of the Week A'Queen Hayes scored a game-high 16 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds in the Colonels road loss to Akron.
 
- Shay Solomon scored a career-high 14 points on 7-of-13 shooting in the loss to the Zips.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
 
- Cincinnati (3-2, 0-0 AAC) lost to Pittsburgh, 66-46, this past Tuesday.
 
- Iimar'i Thomas leads the way for Cincinnati, averaging 13.6 point and 7 rebounds a game. Nikira Goings is also a major contributor, pouring in 12.2 points a contest.
 
- The Colonels are 8-10 all-time against Cincinnati.  Their last matchup came in 2012, where the Colonels narrowly fell to the Bearcats, 59-48.
