STATESBORO, Ga. – Johnkyria Alston hit a pair of home runs as Eastern beat Presbyterian, 4-2, on the final day of the 2017 Eagle Classic hosted by Georgia Southern.

EKU (6-9) scored first on Alston's three-run home run in the top of the fourth inning. The Blue Hose cut the deficit to one in the bottom half of the inning when Blaire Miller drove in a pair with a single to center field.

Alston's second dinger of the day, a solo shot in the top of the sixth, pushed the lead back to two, 4-2.

Alston's two home runs were her fourth and fifth of the season. She finished the day 2-for-3 with two runs and four RBIs. The junior from Haines City, Florida went a combined 7-for-15 with three home runs, five runs and nine RBIs in five games at the Eagle Classic this weekend.

Paulick (2-3) came on in relief in the fourth and pitched three and one-third innings without allowing a hit or a run. She did not walk a batter and struck out four.Â
Rachel Minogue had a 2-for-4 day with a run scored.

Miller was 1-for-3 for Presbyterian with two RBIs.
