RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team returns home to host a pair of critical conference matches this weekend against Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech.

- EKU (6-6-2, 2-2-2 OVC) will host JSU on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and TTU on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
- The Colonels will celebrate Senior Day before Sunday's match versus Tennessee Tech.
- EKU split last weekend's road trip, losing at Austin Peay, 3-0, on Friday night, before bouncing back with a 3-1 win at Belmont on Sunday in Nashville.

Monica Rios scored her first goal of the year off a free kick early in the second half. Sophomore
Kylie Thompson sealed the win with her third goal of the season in the 78

- Owusu ranks seventh in the conference in goals (five).
- The Colonels offense ranks third in the conference in points with 59 on the year.
- Senior Kacey Eckley played all 180 minutes on EKU's backline in the two road games last weekend.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- Jacksonville State (3-9-2, 1-5 OVC) lost to Belmont, 1-0, last Friday and to UT Martin, 4-1, on Sunday.
- EKU has won three straight over JSU, including a 1-0 victory last year in Jacksonville. The Colonels lead the all-time series with the Gamecocks, 9-3-1.
- The Gamecocks are led by senior Claire Petersen, who has three goals and one assist on the year.
- Tennessee Tech (6-6-1, 2-3-1 OVC) beat Belmont, 2-0, last Tuesday and tied with Southeast Missouri 0-0, last Friday.
- EKU split with Tennessee Tech last year, losing 2-0 during the regular season before defeating the Golden Eagles, 1-0, in the semifinals of the OVC Tournament.
- Eastern leads the all-time series with TTU, 9-5-1.
- The Golden Eagles are led this season by Kendall Powell, who ranks third in the conference with six goals on the year.
