RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will go on the road this weekend to close out the regular season against the top two teams in the OVC, UT Martin and Murray State.

- The Colonels will play at UTM on Friday night, October 19, at 8 p.m. ET. They will play at Murray State in the regular season finale on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET.
- A lot is on the line this weekend. EKU (7-6-3, 3-2-3 OVC) currently sits in fourth place in the conference standings with 12 points, tied with Morehead State.
- The top eight teams advance to play in the conference tournament.
- The Colonels defeated Jacksonville State, 1-0, on Friday, October 12 and tied with Tennessee Tech, 1-,1 last Sunday, October 14.

Erin Torrence buried her team-leading seventh goal of the year off a free kick in a double-OT, golden-goal victory over Jacksonville State. Her seven goals are tied for fourth in the conference.

Bailly Bounds found the back of the net on another set piece to tie the game in the 60
th minute against Tennessee Tech on Sunday. It was her third goal of the season.
- Eastern Kentucky's offense ranks third in the conference with 23 goals on the year.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- UT Martin (12-2-1, 7-0-1 OVC) enters the weekend atop the OVC standings. The Skyhawks defeated Belmont, 2-0, on October 12, and beat Austin Peay, 5-0, on October 14.
- EKU defeated UTM, 1-0, last year in Richmond. Bounds scored the game-winner on the day, thanks to an assist from
Marian Wolski.
- The Skyhawks are led by Amy McGivern, who has 11 goals on the year and one assist.
- UT Martin's offense ranks first in the conference with 40 goals on the year.
- Murray State (10-3-1, 6-2 OVC) currently sits in second place in the conference. The Racers beat Austin Peay, 2-1, last Friday and Belmont, 4-1, last Sunday.
- EKU tied with Murray State, 1-1, during the regular season last year, before falling to the Racers, 1-0, in overtime in the OVC Championship game.
- The Racers are led by Miyah Watford and Abby Jones, who each have eight goals on the year.
- Murray State's offense ranks second in the conference with 31 goals on the year.
