RICHMOND, Ky. – The No. 4 seed Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will host the winner of No. 5 SIUE / No. 8 Morehead State in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

SIUE and Morehead State will meet in the first round on Friday at 2 p.m. ET at EKU Soccer Field.
EKU (8-7-3, 4-3-3 OVC) concluded the regular season by splitting a pair of road matchups last weekend, losing to UT Martin, 3-1, on Friday before defeating Murray State, 1-0, on Sunday to secure a No. 4 seed and first-round bye in the OVC Tournament.
Junior
Erin Torrence buried her record-setting eighth and ninth goals of the year last weekend. Torrence's game-winner vs. Murray State gave her the EKU single-season records for goals (nine) and points (22).
Senior
Idalys Rea ranks eighth in the conference in assists on the year (three).
Freshman goalkeeper
Zoe Aguirre ranks fourth in the conference in shutouts (five).
Eastern Kentucky's offense ranks third in the conference with 25 goals on the year.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
SIUE (5-9-1, 4-5-1 OVC) lost to Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State last weekend.
The Cougars defeated Eastern Kentucky, 2-1, earlier this year in Richmond.
SIUE is led by sophomore Andrea Frerker, who has three goals and one assist on the year.

SIUE narrowly leads the all-time series with EKU, 7-6-1.
Morehead State (5-13, 4-6 OVC) fell at Murray State and UT Martin to close out the regular season last weekend.
EKU defeated Morehead State, 4-3, in double-overtime in Richmond earlier this year.
The Eagles are led by Dani Wilson, with seven goals and one assist on the year.
EKU has never met Morehead State in postseason play.
Morehead State leads the all-time series with Eastern, 8-5-2; however, the Colonels have won their last three over the Eagles.

The semifinals of the OVC Tournament will be held November 2-4 in Martin, Tennessee.
