RICHMOND, Ky. – Chloe Rojas collected a match-high 12 digs for the Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team as the Colonels fell on the road at Jacksonville State University Friday night.  
 
The Gamecocks won by scores of 25-21, 25-7 and 25-16.
 
Lindsey Wilkins and Cassie Knutson had a match-high with nine kills each on the night. Knutson also pitched in eight assists.
 
The first set started with the teams trading points to make it 2-2. Then the set became a game of runs and the teams went back and forth until an attack error by Jacksonville State tied it at 21-21. That is when JSU used a 4-0 run of its own after an attack error by EKU to win the first set 25-21.
 
Lexie Libs had a match-high 36 assists for the Gamecocks. Sadie Anderson tied for the match-high with nine kills and added seven digs.
 
EKU moves to 3-20 on the year with a 2-9 mark in the Ohio Valley Conference while JSU improves to 13-12 with a 5-6 mark in conference play.
 
The Colonels return to the court tomorrow to take on Tennessee Tech. The match will start 3 p.m. ET.
