RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's basketball team will welcome in-state rival Northern Kentucky to McBrayer Arena on Saturday night. Tip is scheduled for 6 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW
Senior
Nick Mayo is only 34 points shy of breaking the EKU all-time points record (1,832).
Mayo currently ranks second in the OVC and 12th in the country in scoring at 24.1 points-per-game.
EKU shot only 35.5% from the field in Wednesday's win over USC Upstate; however, the Colonels recorded season-highs in turnovers forced (26), steals (14) and blocks (8).
EKU leads the OVC and ranks ninth in the country in steals-per-game (9.9). The Colonels also rank second in the OVC in turnover margin (+4.4).
Junior
Dujuanta Weaver matched a career-high with four three-pointers in the win over USC Upstate. He finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. He recorded his 100th career assist in the win.
Sophomore
JacQuess Hobbs came off the bench to lead the team in rebounds (career-high 8) and steals (5) in the win over USC Upstate on Saturday. He also had six points and three assists.
EKU is now 3-0 on the year in games decided by three points or less.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
This is the ninth all-time meeting between EKU and NKU. The Colonels lead the series, 5-3; however, the Norse beat Eastern in Highland Heights, Ky. last year in the teams' first matchup since 1992.
The Norse (8-2) fell at Cincinnati, 78-65, in their last outing on Tuesday, December 4.
Drew McDonald paces the NKU scoring attack at 17.9 points-per-game.
