RICHMOND, Ky. – Parth Aggarwal collected two No. 1 doubles wins and victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles to go undefeated on the day as the Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis team defeated Union College, 5-2, but fell to the No. 12 Division II team in the country, the University of Indianapolis, 6-1.

Aggarwal paired up with
Ramon van Flymen to take both doubles matches. Finishing off both duos they faced handily, 6-1.

Carlos Dodero and
Guillem Sanchis combined for a win at No. 3 doubles, 7-6, to earn the doubles point for the Colonels against Union.

Sanchis finished first at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-2, to push EKU ahead of the Bulldogs, 2-1.

UC claimed the next two matches to even the score at 2-2.

Juan Soria defeated Santiago Diaz Lopez at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-4 to make it match point for the Colonels.

Aggarwal clinched the match with a 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 victory.

Colin Hart also notched a win against the Bulldogs.

"Indianapolis has a Division I caliber program," Head Coach
Rob Oertel stated. "They beat Youngstown State which is a good Division I program. They have DI caliber players. Our player of the day was
Parth Aggarwal. He won a tough three-setter against a good player from Union."

Aggarwal claimed the lone singles point against the Greyhounds for EKU at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-0.

Eastern Kentucky will be back in action Saturday as they host a doubleheader against Lindsey Wilson at 1 p.m. and Campbellsville at 5:30 p.m.
