RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's and women's tennis teams are set to host three Ohio Valley Conference matches at home this weekend.

The women will take on Eastern Illinois at 12Â p.m. on Friday and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville at 11 a.m. on Saturday while the men square off against EIU at 3:30 p.m. Friday.

The men (4-13) will also play a dual at Xavier University at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Colonel men were last in action on March 13 when they fell to Stetson.

EIU men come into the contest having lost two in a row to Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech. The Panthers hold a 4-13 mark on the year.

Xavier has lost three in a row and are 2-12 on the season.

The women (7-8, 2-0 OVC) played a pair of league matches last weekend, sweeping the University of Tennessee at Martin, 7-0, and defeating Southeast Missouri State 6-1.

Kristina Lagoda went 4-0 at No. 2 singles last week and paired with
Viktorija Demcenkova to go 3-of-4 at No. 2 doubles. The wins earned the Moscow, Russia native OVC Player of the Week honors.

The Panther women are 8-9 on the year and ride a two-game win streak over conference foes JSU and SIUE into the contest.

The Cougars are still looking for their first win of the season (0-13).
