CINCINNATI, Ohio – Despite winning three singles points the Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis team was edged at Xavier University, 4-3, on Sunday night.

After dropping the doubles point, Ramon van Flymen found an answer for the Colonels, winning at No. 1 singles in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.

The Musketeers took the next three matches to seal the victory.

Guillem Sanchis picked up a win at No. 3 singles, 7-6, 4-6 (10-7) and Gabriel Ruiz won at No. 4, 7-6, 3-6 (10-8).

The men will be back in action this Friday at Jacksonville State. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.
