RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University tennis teams are set to host their final home matches of the season at the outdoor tennis courts.

The men will take on Dayton at 2 p.m. Wednesday followed by Austin Peay State at 10 a.m. on Friday. The women square off against APSU at 2 p.m. Friday and Murray State at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The Colonel men are 6-17 overall while holding a 2-3 record in Ohio Valley Conference play. EKU split last weekend, falling to Belmont on Friday, but sweeping Tennessee State on Saturday.

Dayton is 15-5 on the year, but come into the match on a two-game skid, while APSU is 2-15 (1-3 OVC). The Governors most recently topped Eastern Illinois, 5-2.

The Colonel women are 12-8 (7-0 OVC).

The closest match EKU has had in conference play was at Jacksonville State when the Colonels won by a score of 5-2.

The Govs are 10-6 with a 6-1 mark in league action and have won five straight.

Murray State is 14-6, but is also undefeated, 8-0, in the OVC. The Racers have not dropped a match in 10 matches.
