BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The softball edition of the Battle of the Bluegrass will take place this afternoon as the Eastern Kentucky University softball team will travel to Western Kentucky for a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. ET.
 
EKU has squared off with WKU 22 times on the diamond, with the series split 11 each.

-EKU (22-13, 5-1 OVC) was edged by the No. 20 University of Kentucky Tuesday night at Gertrude Hood Field.

-Paulick (8-4) is leading the pitching staff with a 2.50 earned run average.
