Katelynn Caserma-Kloeble posted 10 kills with a .348 hitting percentage.
Abby Noll posted her 10th double-double of the year with a match-best 11 kills and 10 digs.

Eastern got off to a quick start using a 6-2 run to start the match after a kill by freshman
Adria Hartley. The Redhawks responded with a 7-2 run of their own to tie the opening set at 9-9. After falling behind, 15-14, EKU used a 3-0 run capped off by a
Kaylin Johnson kill to give the Colonels a 17-15 lead. SEMO responded again though with a 6-2 run to take a 21-19 lead and not look back. SEMO took the opening stanza 25-22.

In set two, the Redhawks used a 4-0 run early in the set to take a 7-3 lead and never gave up the lead the rest of the way. SEMO used a 6-0 run midway through the set to take a 17-8 lead over the Colonels. The Redhawks took the second set 25-12.

In set three, Eastern cut into the Redhawk lead 11-9 after a Noll kill. However, SEMO responded with a 9-0 run to take a 20-9 lead and never look back. Southeast Missouri won the final set 25-13 to complete the sweep.

Krista Berns paced the Redhawks offense with a team-best nine kills. Â

Eastern returns home next Friday when the Colonels host SIU Edwardsville. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
