EKU Women's Basketball Returns Home To Take On Miami (Ohio) On Wednesday

RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's women's basketball returns home to take on Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday at McBrayer Arena.  
 
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
By bringing a canned food item to the game you receive FREE admission. Fans are asked to bring ravioli and/or chicken noodle soup

INSIDE THE SERIES
- Eastern leads the all-time series between the two teams, 11-6.
 
- The RedHawks won last year's contest in Oxford, 60-44.

THE COLONELS
-  Eastern is 2-1 after falling on the road at Butler, 73-41, on Sunday.

-  De'Ayra Davis also posted a career-best with 12 points against Butler on Sunday.
 
-  The Colonels have seven players averaging five or more points on the year.
 
-  I'Liyah Green leads the way on the glass for the Colonels with her team-best 8.3 rebounds per game on the year.
 
-  Eastern outscored Butler 22-17 in bench points.
 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Miami comes in at 2-1, after defeating South Alabama, 76-73, on Friday.
 
-  The RedHawks have three players averaging double-digit points on the year.
 
-  Lauren Dickerson led the way for Miami (OH) against USA posting a team-best 21 points in the comeback win.   
 
-  Freshman Peyton Scott has made an immediate impact for the RedHawks averaging 14.7 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game. 
 
-  Miami used a 46-point second half to complete the 13-point comeback over South Alabama on Friday.
 
-  The Bulldogs are averaging 73.3 points per game on the year.
